Community Meeting
Tuesday 7·21 6-7 PM
After a period of closure, the Laguna Day Worker Center is reopening this August at 1677 Laguna Canyon Road.
Before we open the gates, we want to gather the people who make this community what it is: workers, volunteers, neighbors, and supporters. Join us for an evening of conversation about what the center is becoming. We'll share what's new, listen to what matters to you, and build the next chapter together. This is a dialogue, not a presentation. Your voice shapes what comes next.
WHERE WILL MY DONATION GO?
The Worker Emergency Fund
The Worker Emergency Fund provides essential, timely aid to those in greatest need: longstanding members of our Laguna Day Worker Center community who are currently unable to provide for themselves or their families. Through direct financial assistance for rent, along with deliveries of groceries and essential supplies, we help ensure that basic needs are met when it matters most.
Coordinated by a small staff team, the fund is powered entirely by volunteer-driven donations, packing, and delivery efforts. This initiative reflects our enduring commitment to supporting workers and building community—upholding the same spirit that has guided us for more than two decades in serving and empowering underserved individuals.
